Remus Exhaust System For 997 ??

Hello Group,

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on Remus Exhaust Systems for a normally aspirated 997 ??

Remus of Austria appears to have a high quality headers/cat package.

Thanks in advance,

UJ

No but I have been wondering the same thing. I had Remus Header on BMW bike and was very happy with it. They are well thought of in the two wheel world.

I own several things that were made in Austria .
Swarovski binoculars, Mannlicher Schonauer rifle , skis, clothing etc.
I frequently go skiing there and from everything I have seen , I would would have to say that the quality of anything made in that country is second to none.

Saw/heard a set over the weekend. Remus rep's 997S. Nice - pretty mellow sounding - a bit smoother in nature than the OEM in Sport mode.

Very shiny pipes/cans!

Remus in San Fran.

Met a very nice guy, Knut, who runs a Remus and Carbotech dist. Co. in SF>

Remus appears to be very high quality and pop. in euro.

Carbotech makes the RS Spyder tubs = very cool.

REMUS for 997

Hello Uncle Josh,

I am the owner of 997S and have a REMUS full system on the car. We are the importers for REMUS in SF and I gladly answer any of your questions.
Our exhaust is of the highest quality and perormance. REMUS places great emphasis on drivability and will smoothen the throttle acception and response and take the notchiness out of the ride.

Cheers, Knut

Dear DnDodd,

yes we have equal length, flow optimised headers, 100 cell cats, free flow silencers and tips, all in stainless. REMUS is OEM manufacture for MZB/AMG and most european tuners . We garantee the perfomance and a deep sport sound with 40% less cabin droning than yhe stock 997S.
The perfomance is backed up by Richard Lietz who won the Porsche Super Cup in Monaco, Magny Cour, Lausitz and became Vice Champion 2006.
We have an array of interesting pics. If you like to see them please request them under info@maxmoto.com
Thank You
Knut Wagner

Remus in SF

I wanted to share with the group that I have personally met Knut and toured the Remus facility in San Fran.

I came away impressed by the technology and Knuts helpful and courteous demeanor and professionalism- he is a total enthusiast and long-time Porsche (and Ducati) guy.

I initially met Knut because his facility is next to Desmotosport, where I have my Ducati 916 serviced -

I will likely step into a Remus system in the near future.

Regards,
