I have Michelin PS2's, and generally will adjust cold at 32-front and 36-rear. I want them around 36 and 40 hot. The specific tire will have a big influence on this of course.

Street on 19" PS2s: 33/39 per Porsche.

Track on same: 40/42 Hot (cold depends on the day and track - left side was up about 10-11 PSI last time - TPMS didn't like that at all)

I have the pirelli p-zero tires, they are set to about 37-44, seems kind of high to me.

What should I adjust to in cold? I use the car as a daily driver, and just want maximum comfort.

Try some different pressures until you find something you like that is within range of what Porshe suggests. My door says something like 33/39 (cold), so that's what I leave it at off track. The lower you go, the softer the ride...

I find that if the rears are higher than 39 cold the rear is very slippery on street or track.
I have a DE next weekend and will report back to what I end up with.

Do any of you vary your pressures between summer and winter months?

Too low (ie: 39 hot) on the track and they are going to roll over too much. I experimented with hot pressures at 5 different track days and found 42 hot rear, 40 hot front to work pretty good. The lack of camber is what really limits these cars...

Car is stored winter months - but when it does get colder/warmer I just adjust to get 33/39.

Hi Ron, I have a DE at Sebring next weekend. You think that hot pressures on my 19" Mich. PS2's should be around 40 hot? Where do you think I should start out at cold? I'm thinking at around 34 front 36 rear. Thanks for any info and I understand it all depends on the track conditions and how hard I drive. Thanks for any info I can compare with.
Mike

RThe door panel gives the pressures for a loaded car. Use the pressures in the manual

Starting to put some heat in them... My last DE I had 42 hot rear left driver's side that went down to 31 cold (that was an 11 PSI drop from hot). That was the most - left front was 10 PSI different and I think the other side was 8 PSI front and back. I was surprised the left rear went up the most, thought it would be left front as it was in my M3. Difference is weight and power.

I have the Pirellis. The dealer set them right to what the sticker on the door says for normal weight in the car. After a month or so I added about 2 pounds to each. I was worried it would be too stiff, but I like it even better
