Paris, trust me on this, I know what I am talking about. I know that it sounds like the vibration is coming from the blower but I guarantee you it is making contact with the bottom of the engine bay, not the underside of the decklid. I bet when you have the blower uninstalled you will see some wear on the bottom of the blower unit because of this. The reason why the sound disappears when you rev is when you rev the motor lifts up a little bit and at that point there is no contact being made. I have seen this 2 times before, that is why we have the new brackets that eliminate the contact. I guess that it is all moot at this point but I just want to make sure that we all know what is going on here.

 

Paris I think you need to just ask your pops for a Turbo instead and be done with it.

Well the truth is that i am ,too, having some problems with my set up. Definitely not the same ones with Paris but i am left without my car for over 1.5 month and i definitely don’t like spending another 140.000 Euro for a new car.My problems comes ,still working on finding out exactly what is going on, from the VarioCam + mechanism .I had a chat with John at Evoms and told me to replace a Solenoid in the VarioCam+.That was not it.Stil waiting for one other valve in this area ,i believe it is for the (+).I am getting misfires but the engine compression is great!There is no problem inside the motor. This is the only conclusion that makes sense. The reason i am telling you this is to point out that i ,like you, are a long way from America, Greece , and i am having even more serious problems that you are having.....Stick to the problem after all this was your choice and you have to back it up.

 

Seems like the problem isn't language related then...
