How much off MSRP
Just bought earlier this month 10% off MSRP ($91K down to $82K) on a C2S on the lot.
Named a price to several dealers and held my ground from the very beginning. The whole deal was done from start to finish in 24 hrs.

You got a great deal; I paid more than you. Let's just leave it at that.

look, you may think that some are embellishing but i think for the most part, people have been honest about the discounts. why do so otherwise? i for one think that it's great if i post my savings, another could save $$$ in return and maybe make their purchase more affordable or spend the savings on other goodies for the car or whatever.
anyway, if you feel we are embellishing or "lying" as some here might feel you accused them of doing, just keep on listening to those 10 dealers that told you that there is little or no discount and to think otherwise is smoking something. it's your money. we were just trying to help you save some of it.

***edit*** on second thought let's leave it open because you guys are exchanging valuable information on discounts to save other members money....

From my understanding, most if not all the 07 997 Pcars have already been allocated so pretty much that's it...(could be wrong on this, just what I heard). So deals will probably have to be had off of current inventory unless ordered right away.

johnny if buyers wanted the deal they should shop around and then bring back the best deal to their local dealer to match or beat. I live in a more isolated situation then you do so I am putting up meaning I received about 8 percent off from my dealer here in Hawaii. How did it happen? First called local dealer for price and I received X pricing from local dealer. Called a few dealers including Californiia and received Y pricing. Went back to local dealer and they changed their pricing. Isolated nope because I have done it on 5 different cars in the last couple of years. Johnny if you need an actual contract I will be negotiating another purchase from porsche in california and locally. Let me know because I am more than willing to share info.
