From the undercar shot it looks like the stock cats are used. Those things you're thinking are cats look like flex pipe.

Me thinks you need (as the flyer states) the 'full GT3 aerokit' to run this.

In response to questions in previous posts:

-Fvd’s GT3 look center exit exhaust uses the factory catalytic converters and is a modified version of our TUV or export sound level 997 end mufflers. Because the exhaust retains the stock cats and modifications are post O2 sensors, passing emissions should not be a problem.

-The exhaust system features 2 x 100 mm end tips

-Our exhaust system is designed to be used in conjunction with the OEM bumper and heat shielding from the 997 GT3. These parts are available separately thru FVD-USA or your local Porsche dealer and purchasing an entire “GT3” aero kit is not necessary.

-Here are the Porsche part numbers for the companion parts to be used in conjunction with our exhaust
- -OEM 997 GT3 rear bumper
(Europe part number 997 505 411 93)
(USA part number 997 505 411 94)
- Heat protection part number 997 505 811 90

Please feel free to contact me directly for further questions or inquires regarding this exhaust system or post a question and I will answer them as quickly as possible.

Best regards!

Does the GT3 rear bumper really fit a narrow body 997 Carrera? I thought that the GT3 bumpers only fit the wide body cars like C4 rear fenders?

You can purchase the center exit exhaust in either the TUV or Export Version. The only soundfile that we currently have available is:
http://multimedia.fvd-web.com/210111...1119970136.wmv

You'll notice that that car has headers and cat's but the endmuffler sound is the same.

Great sound. Is this closest to the TUV or export version?
