P2178 System Too Rich Off Idle
P2180 System Too Rich Off Idle

I think you might be running rich.. try replacing your MAF.

Is this a fuel issue?

It could be a bunch of things .. I would put my money on MAF or O2 sensors, they are usually the culprits.

Thanks, I'll have them checked. I have reset them twice and don't notice any driving issues. CEL comes on every couple of weeks.

Replaced my O2 sensors (all 4) then drove 120 miles without a CEL. CELd again with the following:

P2192 Oxygen sensor control adaptation FRAO bank 1 upper load range
P2194 Oxygen sensor control adaptation FRAO bank 2 upper load range
P2178 Mixture adaption checksum bank 1
P2180 Mixture adaption checksum bank 2

My research says this could be "System Too Rich" issue.
What does "System Too Rich" actually mean and how do I solve this?
Maybe it is a MAF sensor issue.
The car runs perfectly.

What about these codes:

P2187
Oxy. sensor control adapt. RKAT
bank 1 range near idle speed

P2177
Mixture adaptation checksum
error bank 1

P2189
Oxy. sensor control adapt. RKAT
bank 2 range near idle speed

P2179
Mixture adaptation checksum
error bank 2

I am running a modified SC with AWE cats and the IPD Plenum. Cleaned the MAF and these codes went away.

Just want to be sure I am not running lean!
