Finally!!! My new wheels arrived!
It really is a twin turbo Porsche 996, the fall season really throws off the looks of the car, It does have 305/30/19 rear tires after all!
One thing I have to add, the car handles amazing, but has absolutly 0 straight line traction. 3/4 throttle over 100 mph will instantly throw it completely sideways. Otherwise I love the new PS2's, never had these tires before!

Once you get about 500 miles on the tires you will gain more traction. There is a releasing agent they put on the mold so the tire won't stick when the rubber is injected, and this agent is then bonded with the rubber. After you put some miles on the new tires, the agent wears off.
I think you will be very happy with the PS2's once they are broken in.
Nice car by the way...what have you done to it?

Thanks!
The car is a full on pro touring car with a twin turbo GT35R aluminum LS1 motor, 6 speed, tubular suspension, 4 wheel 13" disc, and eveything else under the sun. The buety is it drives stock and makes over 1000 hp on 93 octane! I love turbos!
I would have thought the tires would have lost any coatings after the first burnout around the block...

Nice...sounds like an awesome machine.
I didn't know you had done a couple burnouts, so that would probably take the release agent off. I'd give it another 100 miles or so to make your final judgement though. When the weather is cool, I notice my PS2's have less grip, so that may be playing a part as well...or maybe it's the 1000 hp?!?!
