2003 boxster s or 2003 c5 z06

Interesting choices. I see the boxster more as a top down cruiser for putting around in. The Z06 is more of a beast. Very livable w/all it's amenities, but it is a super car.
Guess it depends which of those two sounds more appealing for your next toy.

Nice opinion... you want mine? Its dumb to put dymags on a car that weighs as much as a RS4...
Back on subject.... They are two different cars... I made the same choice between these two and a E46 M3.... I would have been happier with either, but I wouldn't put a price on the friends Ive made through my local Porsche Club...
Also just my two cents , but my 986S with coilovers and etc is faster than an older Zo6 on small circuits with comparable drivers... I was coming out of turn 10 at Putnam after following a C6 Zo6 for a few turns expecting to get a point by, but he instead floors it totally leaving me at the start of the straight... he put at least a 1000 feet on me, but I nearly hit him in the rear breaking for turn 2 just a few seconds later. They are different cars...

OK, so no 993. How about an older 996. Plenty on Ebay less than 30k.
And vettes, well been there and done that. Don't even want the T shirt.
If you really want either a Boxster or a C5V......that's tough. The Vette is faster, much faster. I am not a fan of Boxsters.

if you plan to mod the car at all, then get the Z0', if not then it's a toss up... They are both great cars, however when you start the mod bug, the Z0' will be MUCH more "Bang" for the buck... $3500 will get you 450rwhp and some breaklines/pads and adjustable anti roll bars... hard to touch it then on the track, street, or strip... for the money...
