I think back when they were those 2 GMC trucks were the fastest American made cars on the road. I haven't seen one in 10 years, it looks good.

I absolutely LOVE those. I remember going to the dentist when I was little and across the street there was a car lot with like 4 of those on it, the teeth pulling may have sucked but afterwards my Dad took me to look at the Typhoons

It has the ATR cold air intake, ATR chip, ATR exhaust, bigger intercooler pump. I think that's all that I want done engine wise in case I want to put everything back to stock. It is lowered both front and rear, getting the taillights and blnkers smoked out as we speak, and maybe a new steering wheel, that will be it. I will post some pictures when I get the taillights back. Thanks for all the comments!!!!

Yup. They got it REALLY RIGHT with that car and they killed it just as quickly. Those are awesome cars (trucks).

Why AMERICA stopped caring about this kind of thing is a complete mystery to em (at the mass market level)

Consider the Buick Grand National Turbo? People today still FEAR the man who owns one of those legendary rocket-ships. Even by today's standards they're STUPIDLY FAST in stock trim. Add drag radials and run 11's from home to the grocery store!

GM made the spectacularly stupid decision to kill that, and NEVER place a turbo V6 into another production car (that I am aware of) and yet this is one of their greatest inventions of all time.
