That's the problem with thinking you're driving a video game, you expect to have a reset switch!

I don't understand what the Malaysian GT-R crash has to do with a Z06?

I don't understand how that is totalled - Looks like $10-20K in damage, not $72K.

Yeah, its totalled. Frame rails, engine, hood, wiring, hoses, labor... way more than the car would sell for after the fix.

The damage looks repairable as the rest of the car looks intact. As for the Z06 i also dont get it.

Are you serious? I recently did 20k in damage to a car and you couldn't even tell.

And to top it all off, thats not even a new picture of a wrecked one. I've seen the same pic from the original "3" that were wrecked in February.
and what the hell is this doing in the American Muscle section? I drive a Z06, and I'm thinking about getting a new GTR. But in no way, shape or form does it compare in my mind to the batmobile...

once the frame is bent, the car is considered totaled.

well the new GT-R is gonna be kind of hard to fix.
first of all, i dont' thinkt there are a lot of parts are out for it.
2nd. you have to be certified to work on the GR-R and there are not whole lot of people have done it yet.
and the warranty only exits for the first owner of the car.

Attach it to another totaled GTR (back end only) and import it as a near new car. Either way bits and pieces of this car will find its way into another GTR.
