Another new guy.

I heard about this site at the cars and coffee meet yesterday in Minnetonka. I wanted to check it out and introduce myself. I am 23 and live in Otsego, MN I work on the sales side of the commercial finance software business. Some of you mit know me or have heard of me through the 2 groups i run here in MN ricekiller.com and streetkilerz.com. Automobile wise i have a 2003 mustang cobra which has become my toy of sorts. I recently did a turbo conversion on it as well as major chnages to the internals of the motor and the suspension and driveline. Last Friday it made 763.8 rwhp and 822 rwtq. I have not been able to run it in the 1/4 mile yet on this set up but i am going to try for all i am worth for a 9.99. The car goes for the roll cage on the 13th. here are a few pictures.

and the dyno sheet

Welcome!

Dang...I suppose a roll cage is going to be mandatory with those power levels.

Maybe wheelie bars too.

Welcome aboard! Great looking car, and the first time I've ever seen one that was turbo'ed. Looks great in person too (I saw your car at the C&C this past weekend) and I love the black/red interior. Do you have the Cobra set up just right or are there future plans for it besides the roll cage?

Depends on how it does at the track. the only thing left on the car that is original is the heads, bodypanels and interior really. i kept the 6sd trans but may look to go to an auto at somepoint if i can't run the times i want to with the stick. if i do go auto i might bump it to an 88mm turbo as well.
