Look What Just Visted Me

I was in awe of this car that was bought yesterday by a buddy.

He came over to show me.

As a Porsche Guy I still love Mopar for what you get for the buck vs foreign cars.

This thing is a beauty!! 425 HP, 6.1 liters

I cant wait til its broken in to feel its brute power.

There is no replacement for displacement!! LOL,, did a P car guy just say that???

I don't like these new "retro" cars but that does look good.

There's a black one just like that rolling around in my neighborhood. It looks very aggressive in person.

If I had another garage space or two,, i d have me this exact car and the new camaro when it comes out.

I love those old muscle cars.

This car is really a good deal for the money.

425HP

20 inch tires

beautiful wheels

leather and nice interior

porschefan1013 is on a distinguished road
I saw one for the first time yesterday...identical to this and very meh. For $42k? Get outta here...the performance is crap. As far as SRT vehicles go, I'd rather a Grand Cherokee SRT8 or SRT 300C.

The new Camaro is going to wipe the floor with this thing.

Seeing this thing upclose today gave me a great flashback to the 70s when the dodges (mopar cars) were all over,, 440 magnums, challengers, hemi cudas..

I just enjoyed the car in my driveway.

I do love my 997 TT and would never replace it with this but it would be a nice addition along with the camaro.

I love the yellow one on the Motor Trend cover. HOT

I am anxious to see what GM puts into the new camaro.

Hope there is an option for the Z06 engine with the 505 HP

If they are smart enough to do that,, Camaros will sell like crazy.

I have my fingers crossed.

A 427 Camaro (Z06 6.2 liter) would be a feat for Chevy.

My buddy and I (the car's owner) paid Cabman a little visit today just to give him a little look see. BTW, I have invited the owner to join us at the "6" so hopefully he will chime in soon for more details and driving impressions. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Challenger and when I finally saw one in person I have to admit, I like it even better. Pictures do not do it justice, I think that Dodge has done a very good job of keeping the lines similar to the original while upping the performance and improving on overall fit/finish. My buddy hasn't completed the break in period (less than 200 miles on it) so I couldn't get a feel for its real world performance but I can tell that it drew plenty of attention and I personally enjoyed the cruise. In a perfect world, we would see a rematch of these historic marques as they used to battle for the title of the best pony car. Ford has held up their end, Mopar has now joined in, let's just hope that Chevrolet has the guts to put the 'vette motor in the Camaro...then things would be interesting! All this from a guy that drives a Chevy truck on a daily basis and races a Porsche?

Sexy beast.

Ka-chow!

Even my 6 year old son knew this was something special.

Sharp looking car.

What's the difference between the Hemi in this car, and the Hemi motors in the rest of the Dodge/Chrysler Jeep lineup? Seems like you can a Hemi in a mini van at this point.
