Talking Drift drift drift...

I used to be big into drifting back in 05-06... (CTSV)

I went out to my spot today in my C6Z for the first time.

1st Suspension Test: Max compression 16 clicks
2nd. Session: Front on 14, rear on 7
3rd. Session: Front 10 Clicks, Rear 5. IDEAL for wet drifting at least.

First off, when you adjust compression, you must consider and adjust rebound as well.

I didn't have time to mess with rebound but the car reacts crazy with the compression adjustments.

The car wanted to do lots of donuts because of improper throttle control and lack of speed. aka 1st gear.

BUT, when you are in 2nd and 3rd, the tires are spinning around 80-100MPH. It is way easier to balance. As you can tell at the end of my video.

15mins = 3 gallons of gas, 3 adjustments, 250 coolant temp....

Enjoy:

ok... Nice I guess. I did not know you needed Pensky suspension to go in circles but cool
Done similar crap with my C6 when it was stock, no rain though.

I knew you guys would say that...

I was PRACTICING guys.... You should see me in "dry" conditions. :-)

The car has slicks on it, its harder to balance in wet conditions with the current set up.

I need to find a happy medium with the suspension for Drift.

Yes, I was doing donuts and drifting DUH!

I noticed it's still wet outside!!!!

The Z and I have a meeting with a closed 8000FT runway soon. Talk to you guys then...

LOL, exactly.

Tweaking your suspension in wet conditions is going to do nothing for you in the dry with slicks. Needless to say, your adjustments accomplished nothing. I don't think you held that thing steady in any of those slides.

In any event, have fun.
