Coming from the G8Board. I just stumbled across this forum, while I have some downtime offshore. Mad respect for the diversity of the site but wondering if any of the G8 guys happen to roam here.

I want a G8 But I have a GTO!

 

Cazz, what mods have you done to yours and what's your opinion of the G8's?

 

I had a G8 GT previously, but upgraded to a new CTS-V. G8 was a great car for the buck though, I'd own another one.

Did you go with the auto or manual on your CTS-V? Are you stock with your CTS-V, how is the overall reliability so far? Did you consider the GXP at all? You don't hear or see them much at all...

I pop in here some and am also on the G8 board.

 

Auto on both the G8 and CTS-V. I have plenty of manual cars, prefer my daily sedans to be auto. I considered the GXP prior to buying the GT, but felt the price difference between GT/GXP wasn't worth the price. CTS-V is a huge step up from the G8, but that comes with a price tag too. G8 is a damn good car for $20-24K, CTS-V is over double that price. I still prefer the CTS-V of course.

Wow! Now that's impressive! Do you have more pictures of your G8? I love the G8's and especially the instant-collectible GXP.

 

Another G8 owner here - finally joined after trolling around the Garage forum forever - its nice not seeing the ads - lol.

I picked mine up in March as my new DD - so far has SLP long tube headers, Corsa exhaust and Roto-Fab intake.
