What Color Wrap??
What Color Wrap??
I have been playing with the idea of wrapping my car for quite some time. The opportunity to do it might have presented itself this morning.
I am so torn on what color to do it in.
Here is my car in Evoke Grey Metallic:

I have my eyes on some new rims, a set of ADV5.1 in the matte black finish like this:

Option 1 Matte White:

Option 2 Matte Red

Option 3 Matte Black, you all have seen Matte Black so I won't post a picture of another car, but mine "looking" Matte Black:

Option 4 Matte Blue:

Option 5 Matte Grey:

Option 5 Matte Gold

Option 6 Matte White with Black Top, aka Stromtrooper!

my vote is for the storm trooper look! lol. um, another suggestion..... scotchbrite. they have VERY reflective vinyl in most colors, with matte finish usually. it glistens in the daylight, and looks sick at night. i have red stripes on mine. they make it in black too. never seen a full wrap in that. unique

ill include a pic, but its not a good indicator of how reflective it is. the vinyl itself is embedded with glass fibers, and is reflective the same way as some shoes and clothes and safety vests are. it is the same wrap used on emergency vehicles and road signs. your local vinyl shop can point you in the right direction.
you can kinda see the shimmer in the upper right corner of this pic. you really have to see this stuff in person to believe it.

That is sick! You say it is called Scotchbrite? I will talk to the printer about that. Could come up with a killer design. One idea I had was Matter Black with Orange accents.
3M makes it, other companies do as well, and they have a good many colors. the baddest i have seen is black. it looks black until the light hits it, and at night, OMG so so sick it needs medicine. it is a shimmery grey and bright white when strong light hits it. people really freak out when they see it. places like sign companies usually carry it, but you have to find someone real good to lay it.
Where's the Petty Blue option, Tony?
Matte white would be sick, and my choice if I had to live with it for any period of time, but it's been done plenty. How about a simulated rat rod look, think G8/HSV circa 2040 after sitting in a barn for a couple decades?

After a little more research: Scotchlite 680 Graphic Film. I think some Orange Stripes over Matte Black or Grey would look sick! Of course I could just do the stripes over the original color of my car. Considering that I have Orange LED Halos, I think orange would be better than red.

One more thought. This is one of my favorites, although a slightly different front end, and fenders. Matte Black the whole car, then do Orange Scotchlite stripes similar to this car:
