American Muscle.....lol

Not exactly. This is my Neon ACR. It's not exotic but it is a blast. I bought it last May and it has a long history including a SCCA SSC divisional championship and even racing in the Neon Challenge series in the 90s.

These are from a track day last November. I had some issues all day one of which I believe is the ECU, it kept cutting in and out bad causing me to REALLY loose seconds (over 7 seconds a lap) and I blew my catalytic converter up so I was probably driving with 50WHP. I still enjoyed it though although I spent more time checking my mirrors with the big machinery out there than driving. lol

Yeah haha, I decided to make it look a little happy/fruity. My girlfriend made some lips for it but I didn't put them on. LOL

It's a blast to drive and VERY cheap to maintain.

You won't regret it! I ran my very first track session in a car there when I turned sixteen and it still isn't boring.

Sadly yes, a few M3s, a 240Z, and a Mazdaspeed 3 kept pointing me by but he was a lot faster on straightaways. I say sadly because the car probably had no more than 50HP due to the cat and with it cutting in and out. Plus I was on all seasons, Autozone brake pads and a crap alignment. I'm bringing it back out next month I can't wait to see what it really has.

Made a lip for it, hoping it will make a LITTLE difference on track.

A buddy of mine that has a ton of road racing experience once told me that the lower powered cars are a blast to drive because you can really stand on the gas and push them hard without fear of getting too out of hand.
I would venture a guess that is what you mean when you talk about your Neon.
For us total rookies, I think he may be right!
