New Ride

Hey guys,

Last August I sold my beloved M3, when the new owner drove it in front of my apt i had tears in my eyes, it was a day i will never forget. I truly loved that car, all the hard effort that went into building it. Reason for sale was a purchase of my brand new house. I was really excited about moving into a new construction house but after about two months something was just missing. I'd open my garage and it was empty(dont park my DD in it).

Of course, my next car had to be a BMW, right? So, i went out and test drove some 135is, 335is and some E92 Ms but none of these cars felt special. They just werent fast enough which is what i was after. I thought about buying another E46 M3(then HPF it or S/C but traction and reliability were a big concern with this option) and since i already had two E46 Ms i knew it'd be hard to beat my AW in terms of looks and mods.

Made a decision to go out and look outside of BMW, test drove the new Mustang 5.0, was impressed but wasnt fast enough. Next on the list was the mighty CTS-V and boy is that car fast. However, it felt crazy heavy.

Friend of my kept pushing me to go out and drive a Z06. After arguing with him for a few days, i finally decided to go out and drive one. Ppl at the dealer along with my gf and that friend said after the test drive i had the biggest smile ever... i test drove another Z06 and i knew there was no going back.

Onto the pics:

In memory of M3(still miss it)

New ride: 2009 Z06, 2LZ with Nav and 3700 miles

One crappy cell pic as it sits in the garage

Your M is a beautiful car. LUCKY new owner! Wish it was me lol. That Z06 can make a lot of people happy though. Still the best car I ever heard (cams, exhaust, lots of suspension) You will be very happy! Congrats and good luck!

1st mod... get the Volks you had on your M3 for your Z! Those would look perfect... then again I think the Time attack look is perfect on any color other than blue and green
