What kind of vehicle are you putting this in?

And if you want a lot more help head over to LS1tech.com. They are very friendly over there, and they have a whole section on the forum dedicated to hybrid LSx vehicles. A lot of well educated individuals who know there pushrod motors!
It will be going in an Escalade. I will check that site out. Thanks.

Oh man that will be one quick SUV. Def go with the twin turbo setup, you'll have plenty of room under the hood in that thing. And the guys at LS1tech will help you as much as they can just so they can see that thing done lol.

I would bet you could get between 800 and 1000hp with a 454 ci LSX and a Supercharger with very little problem. A well built 454 ci naturally aspirated LSX that will put out 630hp on pump gas has already been built. With twin turbos you can easily get 1,000hp on pump gas out of that application.
