Not an S65, but possibly another AMG...whatever happened to that idea? Somehow I don't see an S65 "blending-in".

 

Well guess who FINALLY refunded the money on the porsche!!! My dad is a lot more apt to let me keep that now, I'm trying to turn that into the S4 replacement.

You say you already have a beater, for a college kid, thats more than you need.

 

As for the question at hand...the safety depends on whether or not the roof stays on

 

Get a used Jeep SRT8 for mid-$30's. Can't be beat for a daily driver "beater" that can handle any weather/**** roads.

 

That's actually a really good suggestion. I'm guessing the interior quality isn't great, but you can fit people in it comfortably and it sounds great.

What about an SL55? Not a great car for the track but you will pimp in it much better than a vette.
