Lightbulb Pantera drivers,ex-drivers? vs Other

I bought a ZR-1 .. 4 years ago. Today it has only 5788 miles more than when I got it. Don't get me wrong, it is a great car and I love driving it, but I started a new business a few months after getting the ZR-1 and time is not as plentiful as I would like. Since I'm not driving it much , I am wondering about changing to a Pantera. Anyone here got the experience to compare the two? I understand the 20 some odd year difference in tech..., I am interested in the way they drive. I may not get in much pleasure driving.... but that does not mean I am not serious when the occasion presents itself. What can they be compared to, if anything? I tried a Viper and have ridden in a Ford GT as well as a Bricklin, anything there similar? I assume not very similar to the Mid engine cars but can anyone who has had one describe the handling characteristics?

My cousin has one. I've ridden in it, but never drove it. The shifting is gated and not very smooth. I don't think they have power steering either, I could be wrong. Panteras are prone to rust. Make sure all the sound deadener has been removed from the engine bay. They also overheat, check for updated cooling system.

Check out these two:

Thanks

I appreciate the info. I get a good idea of the specs from those ads.
I jumped onto the Pantera board this morning and got some good info there as well. Among many other things, they told me of a Pantera gathering that is coming to Vegas. Gives me a little time to try and educate myself about Panteras ... then a high # of them in one place with many different models present to compare. I am planning on getting there.
