'69 Fastback

Damn, I've been a member here for two and a half years, and just noticed... the "American Muscle" thread. This is my contribution. I literally found this car in a barn in '02, paid $3100. Stripped down to the last bolt, and started over. Every bolt came out, every inch gone over... This is the end result. It took about 1000 hours from start to finish, but was worth it.

lemme know what you think

Beautiful car, it looks like it was well worth the effort!

A friend of mine has a 70 mach 1 fastback with a 428 cobra-jet that he also literally found in a barn. He has been working on it on and off for 10 years or so, but if he ever finishes it, it will be an incredible piece.

Thanks guys, yes I did it all myself with the exception of the transmission rebuild, and the 9" rear end. Thanks for the comments

Looks great! Always more rewarding knowing you have done much of the work yourself, good job and thanks for sharing.
