Doors won't lock

Battery died (don't ask) and I jumped it...now the doors won't lock with the remote or physical key.

Any ideas?

Not sure if this will work or not, but worth a shot... unplug the neg terminal for 20 minutes to let the comp reset itself; put the cable back on and see if it works

Or unplug both cables and touch the two cables together - should reset right away.

Wouldn´t do that - just read your manual how to synchronize your keys.

I saw nothing on that. What I did see was that if there is a double horn sound when I try to lock - remotely or manually - there is a defect in the system. Awesome.

Put the key in the door, lock and unlock the doors with the key. As soon as you unlock the car press the unlock button on the key. Thats how I did it when my GT2 lost the code.

Might be a good idea to invest in a battery tender so that you're not caught with a dead battery again in the future. I have the nice automatic one from Porsche. Works great for me!
