Weird - item listing title says 2007 Carrera S, but pics show a Turbo no question.

Basically the car has 2 options, heated seats and sport chrono. MSRP was $126K when new. With 9K miles someone got a great deal IMO! Of course thats if everything else is perfect with no issues. You would have to get a transport for the car but thats about it.

Watch for the car being relisted because buyer did not perform. It is good when you can bid on your own cars through a second account.

Aloha

Holy s***t, if it´s for real - 100.000$ are about 68.000€. For that price you can´t even get a 3 year old 997 in germany. Four months ago i had to pay 150000€ about 220.000$ including tax for my 997TT . Will never understand why Porsche sells these cars so cheap in the U.S.

This doesn´t make any sense at all to me - but as you can see you can do it with stupid germans

Our price is the "right" price. It is your price that is inflated.

obviously - i think porsche is earning enough money on cars that they are selling to the U.S. - this lets me feel i´m a really idiot...

I grew up about 4 miles from the porsche factory and rode with my bike to the factory or to the places where the porsche testdriver met and smoked a cigarette, remember that all new porsche were driven on the road in good old times;-)

And today? I could save a lot money buying a car in the U.S. That means i look at my car in Zuffenhausen, say goodbye and wait a few months until it´s shipped around the world and get it delivered and rebuilded to german specs 4 miles away from where it was born.

Is that globalization or just perverse ??

It's pretty odd the Germans pay more for cars that get shipped across an ocean twice. How does that make sense?

That is why I will move my car after 3 years to Europe, and sell it there
Lot lower depreciation that way

I called the guy and he said it is the real deal. He was offered around 95K for the car from a wholesaler and thought it would go for more on ebay but didn't. Someone got a good deal!!!
