Thumbs up Fabspeed installed today

Just installed the fabspeed version 3 exhaust at Wheel Boutique in Miami and let me tell you, what a difference!

Throttle response and lag are much improved. The sound is just right IMO. Haven't done any HWY miles yet so I'll post my experience with that later. As for city driving it sounds great inside and outside. Not overbearing or annoying. The car revs more freely and feels like a load has been removed. The smoothness of acceleration has also improved. I highly recommend an exhaust for the TT.

Wheel Boutique did a great job with the install and Kevin was a big help to get it all together and done. Fair price and good people down there. Ben's yellow 997TT makes some serious power and sounds mean as hell.

The only problem with the fabspeed.....re-using your stock tips could be a issue. Mine are kinda loose and may need a spot weld to fully secure. They also stick out a little bit more that the stock set up.

I'll follow up with another review once I register more miles with the system.

I am also a very happy FS owner. Car sounds great. I've always wondered what the car sounds like to others at WOT so a few weeks ago had my friend drive by me while I stood on the side of the road. He went flying by in 2nd or 3rd at red line and the car sounded absolutely insane!!!

Also want to give FS props for customer service. I visited FS on two occasions while deciding on an exhaust and they spent quite a bit of time with me and allowed me to take their car out twice.

I ended up purchasing a slightly used system from an esteemed member here (install was done by one of our sponsors) and had it installed. Unfortunately I've had some trouble with a CEL. FS was always responsive in trying to solve the problem.

Even though I did not buy a new system they just sent me two brand new CATS at no charge. Just wanted to pass it along.

Yes, their customer service is second to none!
Do you think any other exhaust vendors would replace your cats free of charge on a second hand system?
Check out my thread on the latest quiet version. FYI, I've never had an issue with tip fitment, make sure your inner expansion spacers are still in place.

Fabspeed does a great job... I have air-intake, heaters, cats, exhaust & tips. The fit was good, sounds great.

That's pretty cool of them. I, on the other hand didn't have this kind of luck with their CAI and Carbon Cover and I BOUGHT the CAI from them (original owner).

So far all is great with the sound and performace. I'm working out the exhaust tip fitment issue with Joe and hopefully we can figure something out. I took her up to 110 the other night and the sound was great. No cabin resonance or annoying sound.

Yes, I'll post it later, still have the receipt. But they are just the oem 996 c4s muffler clamps.
