New rims for the Cobra.

Just put these Enkei RPF-1's on it, and I am very pleased with them. I was worried that they would look too boring since they are silver and not chrome or black, but I like them a lot. They look even better in person, as I am obviously no photog! haha They also serve a purpose as they are only 15.9#'s for the front 17x9's and 17#'s for the rear 17x10's. Where as the Stockers are about 26#'s a piece. I'm on the fence about the center caps, becasue the ones they sell for these I don't care for, and the holes are a few mm's too big for the stock caps, so It may stay as it is, as I don't think they look bad without them. By the way, the M+H's are a bad *** street/strip tire. as I pulled 1.7's on a crappy track, the same day I was pulling 1.8's on my 325 15" MT DR's, which are supposed to be my track set up!

Action shot

Not bad for never having waxed it since I've owned it, almost two years!

On the fence. The weight loss is great, but they look a tad to much like something I might see on a Jap car? Just IMO....

Personally I like the stock Cobra wheels.

The wheels do look different to be on such a car, but I think they pull off the aggressive look very well. I'm willing to bet that they look better in person. I wouldn't go with that particular wheel, but they don't look too bad.

Thanks guys. They do look like an import wheel, because they really are. I am actually very pleasantly surprised at how much I like the looks on the car. They really do look much better in person. Because the biggest reason I got them was for the 40# weight loss from the stockers. If I do anything, it would just be buy another set, but in their SBC coating, which looks like chrome.

If the stockers didn't weigh 10#'s a piece more than these, I probably would have just kept them, but That's a lot of weight for rotational mass, and I really want to lighten up without sacrificing any amenities.
