Bummer....slow leak in right rear.
A flat rear tire is one of those expenses which often means replacing both tires (even wear).I average about one per year . I'm hoping to beat those odds this year as I am driving this car less than past Porsches.

i always keep a "used" spare on hand just for these mis-haps. eBay usually has them for about $100 plus shipping. just make sure the auction states more than 6/32nds tread without any patches or plugs. this way, both tires still wear about the same.
Same here. The dealer tried to tell me I couldnt do it. I plugged it myself and drove it like a rental for another 18 months. I suppose its somewhat of a gamble. Isn't everything? As long as you didnt drive it flat and get it hot and toast the sidewall I say plug it.

Going to get it plugged on Saturday. Great advice to pick up a used "spare" on Ebay. A quick search and there are about a half dozen in various states of wear. Let's see how the plug goes....prefer to not spend $500.

Scary story
I was getting new tires a few weeks ago when this guy rolls in with a leaking tire. I watched as the tire guy plugged two holes, one in the tread area and one IN THE FREAKIN' SIDEWALL
. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Makes you wonder what ticking time bombs people are driving out there.
