I Just Realized Today When I Was Cleaning My Wheels After The Track That My Rear Wheels Are Different.

One Is Made In The Us And The Other One In Italy, But Thats Not The Bigest Difference, Look At The Picture And Look The Difference

the flat part of the wheel is completely different, and they have diferent weight

Fronts and rears are both the same width?! All things are the same as far as sizes and tire sizes?

Did you buy the car new or used? Maybe somebody put a replacement wheel on the car. The OEM wheels that I have seen off the car say Made in the USA. With all of these little problems you are having, i would suggest you also try posting your questions in the CLK 63 Black Series Forum at MBWorld.org. There are many more Black Series owners on that site.

Also, this is probably getting beyond my expertise level, but seeing the different shape of the inside rims and knowing that it is a different weight, makes me wonder whether the different loads on each side of the axle under heavy track use, is contributing to the "protection" problem you are having with the transmission.

THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I WAS THINKING AS WELL, MAYBE THE BIG ISSUE HERE IS THE TRACTION CONTROL THAT IS ALWAYS LIGHTING DURING HARD CORNERS ON THE TRACK AND THIS COULD BE INTERFIRING WITH THE GEARBOX.

When you track the car and demand some extra performance the wheel weight difference can be monitored by some kind of sensor and that may contribute to the "intrusive ASR and gearbox protection mode" your car gets after 1-2 laps...

Hmmm not very happy with AMG correct?
