AWE vs EVO Clubsport Intercoolers

Could anyone compare those two intercoolers? Which one is more efficient?

I don't think anyone has published the flow, pressure drop, temp inlet vs outlet data on these. I have not laid hands on the Evo unit but the AWE unit is heartily larger than stock and the end tanks are a piece of art. The fitment is no hassle either without having to bend or modify any of the mounting brackets

Beat me to it! THe SPI's are massive. If I can find some pictures I will post them. But as far as the EVO vs AWE, Im not sure. Ive havent done AWE, but the EVO are nice, and the endtanks are well designed. I think you would be good with either choice, as Im sure theyre very close.

Mike, you realize that bigger is not always better, right?

You can go too big and find yourself with a massive pressue drop that will hurt performance. Also, if your end tank and core design are sub par, you will lose even more power.

We are compiling data now regarding the develpment of our intercoolers. I will post shortly.

These are the most well thought out IC's on the market. We also spent considerable time making sure the install was plug and play.

Stay tuned.

Thank you for your answer but I'm not interested in Switzer.
My question concern bolt on intercoolers.
Any of you checked the air temperature before throttle?

I do not have any information for you but I have an AWE exhaust and the evo intercoolers. The evo intercoolers at the time were the only bolt on improved intercoolers. I imagine evo has some numbers. Who knows if they work but I am in Texas and it gets hot in the summer so I wanted every bit of protection.

protection this is what we all need
did you notice boost reduction during hard acceleration?
Texas...you should drive with water-interccolers system.

My friend noticed to high temperature in intake system driving on the 6th gear with full throttle for about 10 minutes, car is highly modified.
