I will probly flash the ECU next and delete the Cat's and run a set of there cat bypass pipes next..

 

we just had the fabspeed muffler bypass installed in our 996 this week. it sounds really good w/out being too obnoxious! straight pipes were just a bit too much. but, with fabspeed at low rpms or idle, it had an aggressive, tight sound.

 

You can't go wrong with Fabspeed.

 

I was looking into bypass pipes but were put off by some comments made regarding the noise. Are you saying the fabspeed ones are not too bad ? do they have sound bytes of this ?.

They are great....but extremely loud......open header loud....track only loud, jmo.

 

Are you talking about muffler bypass or cat bypass or both?

 

Muffler bypass, cat bypass is worse.

 

Great for the track or events when you wamt to make a entrance...

I think when I do the cat delete pipes and just run the Fabspeed mufflers I will get what Iam looking for
