Not looking at the piggyback SIM card solutions because they degrade signal quality.

I need to be able to use my new 3G iPhones on the China GSM network but apparently no one has a software unlock for these new phones???

anyone have experience with Asia or can shed some light? willing to pay for a good software unlock for my Apple iPhone!

Sell yours and get one from Italy/HK. Be prepared to shell out some $$$

Make sure you back up your iPhone on iTunes beforehand, it will probably take a couple of tries to get it to work.

s4 is talking about a 3g... sorry s4, currently there is NO software unlock for the 3g unless (as mentioned before) you get one from italy or hong kong....

Hey, I've used Pwnge to great results (although I'm on a first gen iPhone). The newest version is supposed to be good for updating but I don't think it will unlock yet. But keep an eye out for update. They're trying to get based the 3G baseband. Soon, pal.

winpwn is your best bet- they will probably have the unlock working soon, but nothing yet..

thanks guys, figured most will be up to date on the latest technology unlike me....

ok I guess I will have to wait for the software unlock then since I don't want to shell out that kind of money!
