SoCal to Vegas (SEMA) drive anyone?

Hi,

I'm planning a drive to Vegas for SEMA from LA with some "fun" portions off the main freeway on some two lane roads in the desert.

There should also be some "entertainment" other than SEMA while in Vegas.

I'd like to book a block of hotel rooms and get some assigned parking for our Porsches.

The guys over at Ferrarichat.com have been doing an annual drive to Vegas.

You can read all about it/ see some pictures here:

Who wants to join?

LOL, I would say I would like to join but I am missing two things
1. I am flying to Vegas from GA
2. I dont have a Pcar

If this does happen though, I would love to go for a ride and have one of you scare the hell out of me in your car.

I may be interested. But I don't think I'll be going the entire week. Are you planning to do like a Monday morning drive?

I don't care when. I thought two or three nights in Vegas with day or night trips driving in the desert and Valley of Fire National Park - the park has all these nice turns.

SEMA just for one day. But hey, I'm up for anything.

I'm coming from San Diego, if anyone has an extra seat I'll take plenty of photos.

Here is the plan:

Drive from LA to Vegas on Tuesday, November 4th, stay two nights in Vegas.

Days can be spent at SEMA, the casinos, driving around in the desert, etc.

Drive back to LA on Thursday. Some people might stay longer.

A FOUR STAR HOTEL on the STRIP is between $110 and $450/ night. I suggest the LUXOR for $110. Treasure Island is $199/night.

Please post here if you want to go.

i am driving from san diego on monday. my brother-in-law and i will be in my 997s. we go to sema just about every year. we are also coming back on thursday. maybe we'll see some of you guys on the 15.

fyi, for those looking for a hotel, we always stay at the lv hilton. you can just walk out of the hotel and you're in the show in about 5 minutes. no hassles with parking, it really works out well.

I am already HERE in Las Vegas and have a pass for the show, but would like to catch up with anyone willing. Let me know the plan. I am in and know a few other TT owners around the area that would join in also. If anyone is staying through Saturday we have a weekly Cars and Coffee Saturday morning.
