Used TT mileage

How many miles would you consider "too much" for an '07 turbo w/ tip? Considering one with 15K and think it may be too much, although the price is right...

isn't mileage just one of the variables to consider--condition of the car, how it was driven, equipment/mods, and mileage all bear into the price at which it should trade. i'm no expert but generally porsche's are pretty tough and well built cars in spite of how little many of them are driven! if you shared more details on the car you are looking at i'm sure people here will weigh in with an opinion....gl!!

Wink Mileage

I see tt's here with 3k miles and are two years old and there just driven around town..

I have 19k miles and my 08 and is a dd and the dealer says it's bad for them to sit, I cant see paying the money for a car that you dont drive and it will loose money when a new model comes out anyway.

I would think that most owners that have the money want the latest model ?

I hope that people enjoy there cars and drive them like they were made for...

True. I can only go by the dealer's pictures since I haven't seen the car in person, but it looks like it was well taken care of on the outside. How it was driven is another thing, but there's always some uncertainty when it comes to pre-owned vehicles. I was just trying to get a feel from you guys if there was a certain threshold milage that would make you think twice. Thanks again for all your input so far!

I have about 10K on mine and it feels as solid as the day I got it.

I would say you have absolutely no worries. In addition have you looked at the JD Powers quality survey on the car? It's ranked better than a Lexus!

I would say that if 15 K one the odo can shave a bunch of bucks off the price the only downside would be that when you eventually sell it it will also be worth a bit less. But who cares! Just get it and DRIVE...

Once a Porsche crosses 10K miles it takes its first big depreciation hit . This is the case even if the car is immaculate as the psychological factor trumps the cars condition . Add paint or excessive wear and it's Timberrrrrrr!!!!

I know this from :a) years of Porsche shopping and b) trading in my Porsches and getting multiple used car quotes .

15K would not bother me, if the car had been well maintained, never wrecked/flooded, and did not use excessive oil.
