So when is this beast going to pop up here ? I went to a local Caddy dealer today a saw a red one, GORGEOUS car. I am seriously thinking about trading my Z for it.
I came into this forum to ask the exact same question. They look killer as-is, can't wait to see people start messing with them.
I will have mine around mid March. Black or white haven't made final decision but I do know it will be auto, recaros, track brakes, basically fully equipped. I think trailblazer is going big cubes and more spray so need something to DD in the summer and have always liked the way the CTS looked.
Me too, I am really loving the performance. Gotta be the best combination of class, sport, luxury, room and speed out there. GM did their homework on this one. Let's just hope it's durable.

Hopefully. Give it a couple of years and they'll be in the $20k range 2nd-hand. That's going to be some great bang for the buck.
Anyone check out this site, it's freakin sweet. Go GM. (they better, with our tax money)

Amen. Can't wait to see what a pulley, exhaust and a reflash will do for this beast
With a pully swap flash tune etc ... the V's weight will actually be an advantage. The SOB will hook and with a automatic !?! Look out thats all I gotta' say. The Germans will be shyting saurkraut and pissing Becks when this beast hits the Autobahn.
The M's are still the king of the autobahn. I'd still take an M5 from a 100 mph roll. It's like they are faster from 100-160 than 0-60.
That being said, the CTS, as long as it's rugged and durable could be a better car.
The internals aren't reinforced like the ZR-1, so I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig on that one. But I think it can take 40-50 hp safely (around 600). I wouldn't. But I cant say I'd trust a regular LS3 without some reinforcement with 650 hp or so.

Internals will hold up to some boost, my guess at 17 pounds pending with the 2V heads will yield 660/690 to the wheels with a couple supporting mods.
