I want to but I need to get some info on it. I'm going over in June-July so...

 

Going on the European Roads trip to Austria in September, extending the trip to visit the track. Renting a 997 Turbo Coupe. Been there twice before, nothing else like it, but it eats lots of cars and drivers!

 

do they let anyone on there? i know there is a fee to get in, but could you go on a moped or something? i would worry about the other jokers out there.

 

they have tour buses that go on the circuit. it can be like the wild wild west. it believe it's considered a toll road

 

I have passed tour buses, panel trucks and carloads of families on the "Ring" I have also been passed like I was standing still by the BMW Ring Taxi! I have seen 3 wrecks, one a Z4 right in front of me. One of the other wrecks was fatal. Blind turns, narrow road, (at times), and more turns that you can possibly remember make it a tough track. But if you drive within your limits, and slow down when you are uncertain it is a blast and can be relatively safe.
