I will give you an example. At the recent Barnett auction a "special paint code" LS6 Chevelle went for 200k. Now a "regular" LS6 all done is about 85-100k car. Because of the "special" paint that car sold for that amount. and i hated the color of that Chevelle!

I am not disagreeing that special paint colors bring higher dollars - I'm also assuming you are saying the pink is either a special paint color or it is rare.

My comment was preference based, not disputing what you are saying.

The car is awesome - just don't like the color - I'd not buy it though even if it was a better investment, that's all. I'd end up either buying a different color or a different car.

Its not a 'Special Paint" per se. It is however, a very rare color.

I think there were a bunch of cars that had rare, bright, or special colors from the factory in the 60's- I remember seeing a pink mustang, probably a 66.

Grabber blue, lime green, ___ orange and a bunch of others too. Greens and browns were pretty popular back then... earth colors.
