Well I got some sweet side by side shots of a customers TechArt GT Street 997 Turbo with my Vorsteiner/TechArt/GT2 997 Turbo. I guess I like mashups . From seeing these side by sides, I definitely cannot wait to get my Vorsteiner rear bumper. The aggressiveness of the TechArt is similar and really gives a better rear end. The customer does not like big wings so he has the little TechArt type 1 add on wing where I prefer the larger GT2 setup. Both have TechArt side skirts. I dig the front Techart fenders but not the rear. They look like they have a smaller opening now.

There has been alot said of the Vorsteiner looking exactly like TechArt. You can see that the TechArt lines are more rounded where the Vorsteiner has sharper edges.

What material are the Vorsteiner parts?

 

Good question. Vorsteiner comes in either FULL carbon fiber or their DVWP which is a Dry Vacuum Woven Plastic. Both these are alot more durable and lighter then Polyurethane. urethane has the ability to flex more which is nice for installations.

Great comparo, I've been a long time fan of the Techart but the Vorsteiner is a fresh new face. Looks great in person too

the rear pics are too dark you cant see any detail .

Very similar, yet both are great looking. I have to admit I like the grey one more though.
