what to look for

sorry i am a newb but intersted in picking up a used 997TT. My question what to look for in a used TT. I want build a monster capable of 800+ hp and run the texas mile. can you guys point me in the right direction. and before you chastize me i did use the search function first before posting.....

you might as well pick one up cheap that needs motor work cause for that kind of hp you will have to redo all the internals and drive train components anyway...otherwise you will have to pay a premium for one that has already been upgraded with the necessary engine and drive train items...

where do you look for 997TT with motor troubles. flood cars, etc.

you might want to consider a 996tt...you could find one a lot cheaper and put the extra money into the mods/motor rebuild...even a high mileage 997tt is going to cost you some bucks

ok i will take that into consideration. i just love the look of the 997 over 996 for the simple reason of the headlights.

you are going to spend a lot of money either way so you might as well stick to your guns and get the car that rings your bell
