Holy shiat! That truck was hauling the mail. I kept waiting for it to shift, and watch the G pull ahead. But it actually lost ground

 

This vid made me make an appointment with a psychiatrist. My mind is having a hard time crunching what just happened.

I expected a nasty fight down low but to pull a G up top like that is ridiculous. This thing must be making around 850-900hp+ to over come its weight and aero imho. Its a brick and only huge hp is gonna allow it to do that to a G up top like that.

I believe its a stroker with PPP heads and a centrifugal blower....one of the quickest SRT8 Jeeps in the world...

 

Amazingly fast truck. Would have never guessed that outcome.

I'd still take the Gallardo

 

I have to be honest, I'm skeptical of that one. An LP560 will run 130 mph in the 1/4 mile and will top out at over 200. That Jeep would be quick, of course, but to start walking away on the big end is kind of unbelieable unless the Jeep is putting out close to 1k hp. Wow.

 

Like snakebitten and acr-g, I figured the Jeep's strength would be it's torque, giving it the edge down low, then giving up at top end.

I bet the two aren't far off in final price tags to make that happen...

 

I believe it would have done even better from a stop. Those Jeep SRT 8's jump from the line!

Nice run. I'm thinking the Jeep is making around 800 to the wheels. Hard to beat the torque of a 426 cid motor. Suprisingly enough I drove a friends SRT-8 to ~155 mph and the thing was rock solid at speed.
