mod delima, bucket seats, 18" track wheels or kw v3?

I'm debating on getting the following items for my next track event, I wish I can purchase them all at once, but I don't want to hear it from my wife.

I'm thinking of getting the following in this order:

1. bucket seats - last time I was sliding around everywhere and had bruises on both knees.

2. Light weight 18" track wheels and tires - btw what tires do you recommend? NT-01 or R888? I have 19" lobsters wheels, but 19" tires are expensive to keep replacing.

3. KW V3 coilovers - I would do these first, but I already have PASM + cargraphic springs + RSS sway bars + drop links

I'm thinking the most noticeable mod would be the wheels + tires from the reduced rotational mass.

Inputs?

I say get the seats to hold you better with a 6 point harness and HANS.

NT-01's have longer heat cycles....get Toyo RA1's if you can. R888 is not a bad tire like some say but they heat cycle out sooner.

Also get some Pagid RS29 Yellows nad Motul RBF660 brake fluid.

Then do the coilovers to complete eveything leter down the road.

don't get harnesses with the seats unless you have a roll bar...the harness and seat combo will keep you vertical in a roll over and squash your pumpkin...you are safer with the stock seat belt if no roll bar

Thanks for the input, I'll most likely get some seats. I'm thinking of getting the ROTtec carbon fiber CGT reps, do you guys think ROTtec rep seats would be safe or should I stick with Recaros?

Chuck is right....seats without harnesses and a roll bar is not a good idea.

Given that list, I would probably go wheels and tires, for most bang for the buck. The seats, bars, harness, and install is going to add up and might **** off the wifey.

You could try the CG lock as well as it attaches to your 3 point seat belt and makes it harness tight very affordable until you get the seats, bar, and harness

A little late, but were you getting a second set of wheels/tires to swap back and forth from street tires to track tires?

If you have dedicated track wheels, why not get Hoosier r6's? If you look around, you can get used Hoosiers for 18" wheels for around $70 and get at least 3-4 days out of them.
