Upgrading steering wheel with audio controls

My 997tt's steering wheel does not have audio controls. I've recently upgraded the stereo system and was wondering whether anyone on the forum as ever upgraded their steering wheel to one with audio controls. If so, was it worth it?

If you're referring to converting a 'sport' steering wheel to a 'multifunction' version:

Don't waste your time or money...it cost me a fortune to order the thicker MF wheel and I never use it. Ever....well maybe once in a while to quickly lower the stereo...but the controls are so easy to work on the actual PCM that's it's a total waste IMHO

Yeah, but with PCM3 they do all sorts of scrolly things on NAV, I think they show their worth more with later PCM, no?

Save your money, I had it in one of my turbo's and I could not figure out how to scroll through preset channels which was a pain.
