Quik911 Updates

Hey guys,

Just installed BBI test pipes and took my car to GIAC for some testing.

Here's a picture of the BBI test pipes. Pretty good build quality and complete with bungs for the O2 sensors.

Here's the results for 91-octane only using the pump gas file:

And here's the results with 91-octane and methanol injection on the race file:

We were pleasantly surprised at the power gains. The car gained 12 peak WHP on 91-octane only (California **** gas ) and 38 peak WHP on 91-octane with methanol injection. No additional tuning was needed.

Here's a couple of shots on GIAC's dyno. I like how they place the fans to maximize airflow.

Thanks to BBI and GIAC for all the hard work!

Congrats on the pipes and increased performance. I'm glad to see another Turbo guy with straight/test pipes. I had them installed in mid December and only had a chance to drive it from the shop to the garage for winter...can't wait to hear the car on the track. Are you happy with the way your car sounds?

Thanks, the sound is insane. Very clean and high pitched.

Great before and after testing! hopefully this will help dispel the rumor that turbo cars need some backpressure for low end torque...

Great numbers. Cat-less are the way to go.

What were the baseline numbers, if you have them?

Becuase of you Randy, I have them too!!! You are a bad influence on the checkbook my friend. All I can say is that the sound is absolutely incredible. The high pitch sound is truly intoxicating at WOT. I didn't get my car dynoed, but my butt dyno definitely feels the car pulling harder. The turbo spool is much quicker and the turbo's really whistle now..

Once again, BBI builds a high quality product. Satisfied once again.....

Ozone layer haters! Just kidding!

I'm really surprised it gained that much power without any additional tuning. The car does sound good! It's a bit more raspy now. I think It's got a little bit more of a GT3 sound (raspy).
