2011 Mustang 5.0 434whp/391wtq on 91

This car has just over a 1000 miles so please excuse the stock ride height and crappy wheels. Pictures will be posted soon with the new wheels, brakes, and suspension.

Mods:
Boss 302 Intake
American Racing Long tubes
American Racing race pipe with highflow cats
Dynomax Cat-back
JLT Intake
JBA Racing tune

Wow, very nice.

Have you had it at a drag strip or done any timing tests on it before/after?

What was the baseline stock? Around 370? I'm interested in how the BOSS manifold relates to area under the curve. I know in the last few hundred rpms it throws on the power but it loses some in the mid range and it loses some torque. It definitely gives very good peak numbers just wonder what the real world results are.

What are your plans for lowering it?

I've got just over 1k on my '12 GT and as soon as my pbox arrives I'm going to start with the mods.

Very good numbers!

Very nice car and nice #'s from some simple bolt on's. This is an excellent platform and obviously responds very well to mods!

Congrats!

nice #'s, that car moved a bunch on the dyno, is that normal for that type of dyno?

Congrats on the 12'! I'm not sure what the baseline was because most of the mods were installed at another shop prior to the tune. Most likely anywhere from 350whp-370whp. I can tell you that this car is very fast for relatively minor bolt-ons.

The suspension consists of KW Variant 3 coilovers, a variety of Maximum Motorsports braces, and AP Racing front and rear brakes.

I'm not sure but it does look a little scary, I'm glad I wasn't present.

Ford really nailed with the new platform, the car drives so nice and the 5.0 is showing to be true performer, plus it responds excellently to mods in n/a form. How does it drive with the new KW suspension?

The suspension isn't on yet, we are waiting on the wheels to be finished. The brakes are far too large for the factory 18's. I will let you know once the suspension is complete.

Impressive numbers for sure. Could you possibly post the dyno sheet? The 434 rwhp on the dyno does that translate to about 500 fly wheel hp?

No, it was a result of them not tying the back end of the car down.

I will try to post the dyno sheet this week. Depending on drivetrain loss used which is normally between 12-15% the flywheel hp is anywhere from 485-500.

In for the graph as well. I'm glad Ford finally came out fighting with the new V8 platform. Especially because there is plenty left in the engine with bolt-ons, clearly!
