These camaro's are fun cars to see out on the road. They look good in crazy colors and there are so many combinations with the striping. Muscle cars are really back and better than ever and it helps the economy. Good all around.

 

I think it looks like an aborted fetus. Worse is, all the owners think its the fastest thing on the road. Thank god I won't see too many on the roads up here. Not for the $65k price tag.

It's an amazing time and not just because as some said it has the power on the straights. This car is balanced, it can brake and it can handle. It has suspension pieces as good or better than the 599. Looks might be subjective, but this performance is not.

This heavy Camaro is a world class car. Sounds better and performs as well as cars 3 times it's price and much lighter. GM is doing a great job finally and I'm glad some did not get their way with it's demise.

In 2006 when the Z06 was first tested, a standing start was used to set it's time. Since then, the automakers have been using flying starts. This equates to a 8-10 second difference in time. Also, the 2006 Z06 was using the Gen 1 Goodyear runcraps. The newest Z06 used MPSC tires, which are super sticky. Not sure what the ZL1 used, but anything is better than Gen 1 runcraps.

Regardless, the ZL1 is NOT faster than any year Z06 with any package. At the Z06 slowest, it would still be easily 15+ seconds faster than any ZL1.

 

I'm not a huge fan of the looks of the new Camaro, but a GTR owner should not be commenting on the looks of other sports cars, lol. The GTR's looks are every bit as subjective as the Gen 5 Camaro

 

This is exactly what I was thinking! GTR's are impressive in their abilities, but their looks are certainly lacking versus most sport cars.
