Quick Help Needed--Anyone seen this car in person in Houston?

This car is almost exactly what I want. The mileage is a bit higher than perfect for me, but the pricing after some negotiating is going right. I'm also going to get a DME reading before I buy. I'm not inclined to fly to Houston (I really can't, I have too much going on). Its a CPO. If the DME is good, I don't feel like I'm taking too much risk (I've bought 2 BMW's this way).

Has anyone looked at this car in person? Can anyone in Houston look at it for me and just give me a thumbs up.

And, if you hate the color combo, please spare me. I know its not to everyone's taste, but I LIKE it!

If it's CPO then i won't even bother with the DME scan...However, i would definately have them paint meter the car just to make sure the panels have no paint work done to them. Have them do this in writing.

CPO and no paint work, go for the car. White with these options are hard to come by. I have a very similar car plus the ceramic brakes.

Thanks, Quick. I thought that you could not CPO a car with any substantive paint work? Am I mistaken? I am told you also can't CPO a car with type 5 and 6 overrevs, so I'm checking that carefully. Carfax is clean.

I agree with Quick advice. Miles are high for my liking but you should be able to bring the price down a bit. Good luck!

A CPO'd car does mean a clean bill of health.

but doesn't mean it has no paint work... Certification can still be done with range 4-5 over revs, not to mention, 1-2 re-sprayed panels.

I checked the CPO checklist...Quick is right that up to 2 panels still qualify for a CPO cert. I will ask if its been on the paint meter. Although, to tell the truth, so long as it looks nice I am not too concerned, its not going to be show car and I plan on driving it regularly...

Any re-sprayed panel should be seen in person and if that's not possible then i would recommend looking at the pictures taken at night with a flash light.
