Subwoofer Removal

I need some help!

I purchased a phone mount for my center console, but there appears to be a subwoofer in the passenger foot well that is in the way. Can someone provide me with a way to loosen/move the subwoofer so I can install the phone mount. I plan on re-installing the sub once I'm done. Thanks!

BTW - I have searched extensively without success.

You would need to remove the center console first. Remove the back lid and then access the 8 (I believe) total screws to pull out the center console. I'm not sure if you can access the bolts retaining the sub without removal of the console. I have a coupe with the sub mounted over the ecu behind the rear passenger seats. I would also pull the base trim below in between the shifter and center console to try and get access. You should be able to pop this out quite easily by looking at the driver side just next to the gas pedal. Hope this helps.

Actually, I'm trying to mount this product:

http://www.kudausa.com/porsche-911-9...lack-a640.html

and the subwoofer is in the way. I need to pull forward the passenger side of the center console in order to mount this device. The instructions do not account for the subwoofer as seen here:

http://www.kudausa.com/manuals/porsc...kuda_mount.pdf

It also appears that a 12 V outlet is also in the way, and not seen in these instructions.

Item#16 appears to show the subwoofer equipped speaker for the TT cab 07-08. I don't have personal experience with how it is arrayed, but judging from the picture. It appears to mount top center, but you may get more out of the diagram since you have seen it. I the 12 volt outlet is just terminal pins on the back side, nothing major. However, it should be constant hot power so be aware although you don't have to disconnet the battery, just don't ground out the hot wire.

I don't want to lie, but I don't think so. I am pretty sure that the one in the passenger foot well is the only one. The one in the center console should turn off. That being said, you could just check with a test light or plug in a cell phone or gps and see what happens. It never hurts just be safe and assume yes, but the passenger one is where a lot of guys were splicing in their DENSO for Ipod integration. I used the hot to the navigation/power amp in the front boot instead, but I just remembered that note.
