Off the dealer floor and straight to Shark Werks

This brand new (only 50 miles on the odometer) white 6speed 2011 Turbo came into us straight from the dealer floor for an upgrade in the aural department. The Shark Werks exhaust was installed to give the 3.8L DFI engine a "proper" sound.

In she comes...

Off with the bumper cover:

And a few more parts:

And now ready to fit the Shark Werks unit:

On she goes (and a few pounds lighter as well):

Secured to the factory mounts:

Fits under the bumper cover so you don't see anything hanging below:

And the stock tips are installed just the same as before:

Ready to be broken-in and enjoyed!

Nobody would know the difference except that she sounds like this...

Awesome indeed.

Boring question: when someone with a new or nearly new Porsche gets a Sharkwerks exhaust upgrade, do they box up the stock parts and keep them just in case a future owner might want to go back to stock? Or do the stock parts go immediately to the recycle bin? Once I had this done, I doubt that I'd ever go back.

Thanks mate and not a boring question at all. We usually pack it up and it either rides back with the car or we ship it down to them. Depends on how much luggage is in there car. It's worth keeping for the next owner etc...

Since I've never seen a Sharkwerks video before now I was completely surprised by the toy shark at the end.
I love people who can make fun of themselves.
It must be a cool place to work.

So the 997.2 exhausts are modular? That is a great lower cost option for that car. The exhaust sounds great too - like the older Cargraphic louds. Great work Alex!

Does your exhaust carry a warranty?

I see some aftermarkets do and some don't. Didn't see info on your website.
