Angry clutch pedal vibrate during upshift

my 97 turbo has a weird pedal high frequency vibration, but only when depressing pedal during upshift.. engages fine- no chatter, and only has 10K miles. Interestingly, no vibrate if decelerating and downshifting. where do I look for the problem. it doesn't seem to be flywheel/clutch related based on my work on other cars. is this a throwout bearing problem? new to porsche so not sure of the mechanism any where to focus. its like when you are depressing the pedal, you feel a humm in your left foot as you depress it.

Think he means 997
If it's the throwout bearing, wouldn't he feel it during a downshift as well?

I dont think so. You can have a bad bearing and it only vibrate with no clutch pressure. He should feel the pedal vibrating at idle. There really isnt much that it can be unless one of his syncros is bad then it would be hard to get in that gear unless perfect revs. Seeing its every upshift I would go bearing. As I cant see it being the pressure plate or a clutch this early.

I jumped on bearing because while I dont know the year 10 is low unless its a 11-12 model

sorry its a 997.1.. shifts fine. no issues there. just that as I push pedal in , it feels like an electric toothbrush is on and attached to the pedal. if at idle, or down shifting, it either not there or less prominent. it annoying and doesn't affect function, but if something needs fixed, I will certainly do it. It just takes aways from the driving experience because I notice it every time I shift! Not a syncro problem.

I Just found this from a search on forum: I had this exact same issue and wrote it up sometime back. I had several indies as well as a Porsche dealership and other P car guys drive it....almost universal consensus was that it is the fingers on the pressure plate that create a slight but high frequency vibration as you barely depress the clutch....you feel it in the ball of your foot...almost like a buzz. It drove me nuts....then I finally wore out my clutch about three weeks after I got the UMW flash and went to the beefier Sachs GT2 setup and I dont' have the vibration any more. Although it seems hard to accept....because any vibration is usually cause for concern....but it's normal for some cars. The vibration had nothing to do with the clutch going out...it was the increased power from the flash with 34K miles on the clock that did it...

My all-stock 2007 997tt just started vibrating on the clutch pedal (when depressed) yesterday.
I called the service rep, and he said it was normal.

Mine does the same thing. I've read enough on the forums so that I'm not too concerned.

my pedal buzzes...just bought car 2 weeks ago...had dealer install brand new clutch before I picker her up. Noticed this when getting on it. Shifts fine like everyone says....just annoying. Where is the mechanism that connects to the power steering fluid? Is it on the slave cylinder or master? Almost feels like cavitation of the fluid in that system.

Update:
500 miles after the vibrations started, my slave cylinder and accumulator failed. Luckily my car was under cpo warranty. Both were replaced by the dealer, and currently my clutch has zero vibrations.

From telling you it was normal to needing work...did you go to another dealer to fix it?
