Next week i will race my 997.1tt(softronic tune,AP decated exhaust,BMC air filter and GT2RS IC) vs my friends stock 458 italia.What do you expect?my best 60-130 is 8.7s and my best 0-60mphis 3.1s and did 11.1s and 125mph on the 1/4mile(all numbers by pbox)I think he will pull me at least 5 car length

I think itll be close. But there are too many unknowns to judge it just off numbers.

FWIW, my car does 60-130 in 7.9 and I was pretty even with my friend's 458 when we messed around with the edge going to the 458 especially if the TT has to shift more than once.

 

If its from a dig, then the 458 will probably win. But if its a rolling start then you have a good chance. I have driven a 458 and it does not feel anywhere near as fast as my GT2. My GT2 is modded to about 620hp about the same as your TT. But a manual tranny will not take off like a dual clutch tranny with LC

 

I think if anything, you can out launch him but he's going to be a tad bit stronger up top. From a roll, better know how to brake boost!

 

why your time 60-130 8.7sec ????
we have many softronic cars here which moded with catless exhaust and bmc filter running 7.5-8.1 sec !!!

this is run 100-200km from tip 997tt with softronic tune , bmc filter , exhaust system 2 passngers inside the car



if possible chick your plugs and do presure test ..

maybe because i did it from 2nd gear?we were 2 persons in the car and it was hot outside.
