Since this Black Series is pre-owned, the new owner does not like the dark tinted windows (we rated it at under 20%), so off it comes. In goes the latest in window film technology - Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint. We will be installing 45% all around + 75% on the windshield.



There is also a band of tint on the top of the windshield that MUST go.....just does not fit in this car!

 

Should look clean when its done. Always see proper work done from you guys!

Now, let's get the tint off. First, we always want to show the efficacy of the products we put in our clients' vehicles. We pulled the tint off and put it to a BTU test.

First, here is a BTU reading at 3pm with no tint



Here is the reading from the previous tint we pulled off:



Spectra PhotoSync at 45%, which is over 25% lighter than the previous tint:

Curious how do you compare the RS4 to the BS?

You've chosen arguably the best guys in this industry to do the work. Just sit back and watch these artists do their work. Premier, you guys never did a write up like this for my BS! :0

 

The crew at Premier are awesome! I am Still 1000% satisfied with the Satin Guard wrap they did for my M3.

OP- you'll love it!

 

Exterior - BS screams look at me. RS4 is noticed by car guys.
Interior - MBZ is ahead here, except for the manual adjustment passenger seat.
Engine - BS sounds better and has more power and torque. It's a monster. I love the low range torque, but I do miss that 8k rpm scream from the RS4.
Ride - Similar actually. Not sure why - you'd think the RS4 would ride better, but not really.
Handling - BS so far is better by leagues. Its fairly neutral and encourages fun driving.
Transmission - RS4 manual is more involving, but the MCT is no slouch.

Overall - the BS is hands down the better car, but the RS4 is not far off, and in inclement weather, it's far and away the car to drive.

 

Every panel on this C63 Black Series is covered since the paint is OEM matte....a paint to maintain and if it chips / scratches, very difficult to match. So the owner of this fine machine did it right by protecting his investment.
