This is an old video, but a good one. Figured there's a lot of new people around here who would like to see it.

Switzer Sledgehammer 6-MT 997.1 going 9.79 @ 146.4 on the stock motor, stock trans, full-weight on street tires...with a 240lb driver (Tym Switzer).

This run was at around 850 whp. This same car also ran a 4.25 60-130 with one shift at around 900whp before it was delivered to the owner.

 

"drove tot he track" says a lot.

Their website is in the process of being updated. In the meantime, click the links under SWITZER 997 MODELS at the address below. Any other info you need you can get by calling them. FYI, the package on my 997 (R1K) isn't on their website yet. The packages currently listed on their site use the stock engine. Mine comes with a fully built motor and makes a lot more power than the others.

Not yet. It's not quite finished. Since Tym Switzer provides full warranties on his big builds, he's extremely thorough before he releases new setups to the public. Hopefully in the 2-3 weeks, though. I'll definitely post 1/4 mile, 60-130, and 100-150 times along with vids.

Not A30/76s. They were custom Turbos that Tym spec'd before Alphas were available. To do this day he only uses his own custom turbos on all of his builds (GT-R and Porsche). Nothing off the shelf. Boost was less than 1.8 BAR during this run.
